Brother 2270 Basic Troubleshooting

Check the Following

• The Power cord is connected properly and the machine is turned on
• The toner and drum unit are installed properly
• The front cover, back cover, and fuser cover are completely closed
• Paper is inserted properly in the paper tray
• The Ethernet cable is securely connected to the printer and the switch
• The Switch has a trunk line to the Cradlepoint
• Check the power and lights on the Cradlepoint and switch
• Check for a WiFi light on the back of the Printer
• Check which wireless network the laptop is connected to
• The correct Driver for the printer has been chosen and installed
• The computer is connected to the correct network
