AES Software Suite 11.6
New fundraising software release adds intuitive features for contributor tracking, mobile bidding, and device management
Release date 11/20/2025
New Features
Displaying Company Names
In public-facing areas of the software, we now display the Company Name for contributor records marked as a Company. Individual contributors will continue to display the contributor's name {firstname} {lastname} when marked as an Individual.
This change affects:
- Cash Call Report
- Slideshow Reports
- Bidding History in the mobile bidding application
Tracking Merged Contributor History
When two contributors are merged, a new Event Contributor is created and the original two are deleted. We now track the deleted Event Contributors and include them in the payload for the Get Activity API call. This enables integrators to identify deleted EventContributorIDs when syncing with third-party databases.
Simplified Selection for Device-Specific Packages
We have completely revamped the settings screen for selecting Device Specific Packages. The new method is much more intuitive and does not require users to know package numbers ahead of time. It allows for quick and easy configuration of devices used to sell specific packages in designated areas of an event.

Bidder Lookup Mode (Mobile Bidding App)
Sometimes when tablet devices are being used by volunteers or staff to sell specific packages at an event, buyers may not know their bidder number. They may have forgotten it, lost it, or not noted it during event check-in. This is common for events such as golf tournaments or multi-day fundraisers.
To better handle these situations, we have given organizations the ability to configure specific kiosk devices to Bidder Lookup Mode. This allows the device user to look up a contributor by name, company, group, etc., instead of by bidder number. This ensures a simple, easy experience for volunteers and staff using tablet devices to sell multi-unit packages in various parts of the venue.

Elimination of Double-Click in Search Grids
In Event Manager check-in and check-out, we have eliminated the "double-click" action that was previously required to open a record in the grid results. Now these records can easily be accessed with a single click in the underlined (hyperlinked) area. This results in better usability on tablets and other touch-screen devices.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed a scenario that could cause bidder numbers to be duplicated when registering.
- Added "Auth Only" to the Payments Grid filter.
- Fixed a bug that would prevent the Slideshow background image from loading if it contained spaces.
- Improved the explanation when a user attempts to access an area of the software they do not have permission to view.
- Fixed an issue with the Cash Call Report using UTC instead of local time when determining which donations to display after the cutoff time.
- Datacap processing codes will now be copied to cloned events, so processing will not need to be manually configured.
- In the mobile bidding app, we repositioned the status banner on the package detail screen so it no longer covers long package titles.
- Fixed an issue with Slashing Minimum Bids in Event Manager, which would cause some packages with no bids to be incorrectly excluded.
